Bearing block generator — text to CAD.

Describe the block — housing size and shaft diameter — and Volex Forge builds three bodies: the housing, a sleeve bearing seated in its bore, and the shaft running through it.

The clearances are nested and real: the housing seat is larger than the sleeve outside, and the sleeve bore is larger than the shaft. Nothing interpenetrates, which is checked on the built solids rather than asserted in a note.

Frequently asked

Do the three parts actually fit?
Yes, and it is measured rather than claimed: the sleeve bore is 0.2 mm over the shaft, and the housing seat is 0.2 mm over the sleeve. The built solids are checked for overlap before the file is released.
Is this a rolling bearing?
No — it is a plain sleeve, the right model for a bronze bush or a printed bearing. For a housing to take a rolling bearing, try the pillow block generator.
Can I change the clearance?
The default is a 0.2 mm diametral running clearance. Say the fit you want in the prompt and check the measured bore in the result.
Which format should I use?
STEP for CAD and CNC, STL for 3D printing, DXF for the 2D outline.
