By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
Professional-use disclaimer — please read. Volex Structural and Volex Forge are engineering aids. All calculations, checks, generated geometry and CAD files are provided to assist a qualified professional and must be independently reviewed and verified by a competent engineer before being relied upon for design, manufacture, construction or any safety-critical purpose. You remain responsible for the suitability and correctness of any output you use. Volex Labs does not provide engineering advice and accepts no liability for reliance on outputs without independent professional verification.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Services.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
- Do not use the Services unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
- Do not resell or provide the Services to third parties except under a plan that expressly permits it.
3. Subscriptions, billing and refunds
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the cycle shown at checkout. Fees are stated exclusive of taxes unless noted. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Statutory rights to a refund are unaffected.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the inputs, prompts, projects and outputs you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process them to provide the Services. We do not claim ownership of your designs.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, branding and content (excluding your content), are owned by Volex Labs and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services.
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that outputs are error-free or code-compliant. See also the professional-use disclaimer above.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volex Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; provisions that by nature should survive will survive.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the site or email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
