Pipe reducer generator — text to CAD.

Describe the run — the large pipe, the small pipe, the wall and the overall length — and Volex Forge builds pipe, reducer, reducer, pipe as one hollow solid and returns a STEP, STL or DXF.

It is hollow the whole way through, including the cones, so it is a pipe run and not a turned shape that looks like one. State a length and the run is that length; leave it out and the cones take the ASME concentric proportion with a pipe diameter of straight at each end.

Frequently asked

Does it build to the length I ask for?
Yes, exactly. State “300mm long” and the four segments are sized to sum to 300 mm. Leave the length out and the run takes its default proportions: a pipe diameter of straight at each end and cones at twice the diameter difference.
Concentric or eccentric?
Concentric — the small pipe is on the same axis as the large one. An eccentric reducer, flat on one side, is a different shape; describe it and check what comes back.
Is it hollow through the cones?
Yes. The inner stack is subtracted at the wall offset through every segment, so the bore runs the whole way and the small end is open.
Which format should I use?
STEP for CAD and CNC, STL for 3D printing, DXF for the 2D outline.
